All the cars from Geneva Motor Show 2019

The Geneva Motor Show is now in its 89th year. It’s one of the European motor industry’s biggest and most important events.

What is the Geneva Motor Show?

It’s a big car show held in Geneva every year. Lots of car manufacturers and suppliers take their cars to show off to the media and public. In the past, car manufacturers would save their new models to reveal at the show. This does still happen – as you’ll see below – but more and more frequently, manufacturers are premiering their new cars outside of motor shows.
As well as car reveals, manufacturers also take prototypes, crazy concepts, new equipment, and new technology to the show, so expect to see anything from exotic supercars, to flying cars, autonomous cars, and everything in between.

Geneva Motor Show 2019 dates and address

The Geneva Motor Show is held every year at the Geneva Palexpo convention centre, with two press days kicking off the event on 5-6 March, before it opens to the public from 7-17 March.

Geneva Motor Show ticket price

You can buy tickets from the show site. Tickets cost 16 CHF (around £12) for adults, 9 CHF (around £7) for children aged 6-16 and pensioners, and children under six go free with an adult.
If you arrive after 4pm, you’ll be able to get half-price tickets, and group bookings for 20 people or more only have to pay 11 CHF (around £8) a head.

What car manufacturers won’t be attending the 2019 Geneva Motor Show?

A few big car manufacturers aren't at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show. The list stands at Ford, Jaguar Land Rover, and Volvo.

Here are the most important cars revealed at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show. The focus seems to be on electric SUVs, small electric cars, and more electric everything!

Abarth

Abarth is celebrating its 70th anniversary, and is celebrating with the new 595 esseesse and 124 Rally Tribute limited edition.
The esseesse is an homage to the legendary Sixties tuning kit. It will sit at the top of the Abarth range, with the brand's most powerful 180 horsepower engine. The 595 esseesse features high-performance brakes, 17-inch alloy wheels, Abarth side stripes, and mirror caps. The Abarth 124 Rally Tribute will be limited to 124 cars and is not destined for the UK.

Alfa Romeo

Tonale: This is Alfa Romeo’s new plug-in hybrid small SUV. It’s only a concept car now, but expect to see something very similar emerge in production form soon.Find out more about the Alfa Romeo Tonale.
Stelvio Ti: The warm Stelvio will have a few unique design aspects to set it apart from the rest of the range, including a carbon fibre grille, 20-inch alloy wheels, privacy glass, and yellow brake calipers. It will be powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine with 280 horsepower, paired with an eight-speed automatic gearbox and all-wheel-drive. Apparently it will do the 0-62mph run in 5.7 seconds, and have a top speed of 143mph. Giulietta Veloce: Alfa also brought the new Giulietta Veloce to the show. It's powered by Alfa's 2.0-litre diesel engine with 170 horsepower, and has updated 18-inch alloy wheels, new bumpers front and rear, new side skirts, yellow Brembo brakes, tinted windows and twin exhaust pipes. Inside, it's got sporty Alcantara-trimmed seats, a sports steering wheel, and aluminium pedals.

Aston Martin

Lagonda All-Terrain concept: Aston Martin has announced that the first production car from its luxury, all-electric Lagonda brand will be the All-Terrain concept, which was seen for the first time at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show.

The British firm is also showing off concept versions of a new hypercar - the AM-RB 003 - developed with Red Bull Racing, as well a new supercar, called the Vanquish Vision Concept. Vantage/DB11 AMR/DBS Superleggera: Aston Martin also brought its Vantage, DB11 AMR and DBS Superleggera cars to its stand. The Vantage and DBS Superleggera have been personalised by Aston Martin’s bespoke Q service.

Audi

Q4 EV SUV: Audi debuted its all-new Q5-sized fully-electric car at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show. The design of the Audi Q4 E-Tron Concept is based on the larger E-Tron, although considerably more coupe-like, and it will rival the likes of the Kia e-Niro and Hyundai Kona EV. The production version should go on sale in 2020.
E-Tron GT concept: European debut of the sporty GT concept, which was developed in collaboration with Porsche. It was first seen at the LA Motor Show. Plug-in hybrid versions of A6, A7, A8 and Q5: Audi is adding plug-in hybrid power to another four of its models, which are all on display in Geneva.

BMW

7 Series: The latest version of BMW’s flagship saloon made its debut at the Geneva Motor Show. Like other BMWs of late, the new 7 Series will have significantly larger kidney grilles, along with a flatter bonnet and slimmer headlights. There’s expected to be petrol, diesel and a plug-in hybrid options, with a petrol V12 topping the range.

Bentley

Limited edition Continental GT no.9: Happy 100th birthday to Bentley (do you think it’ll get a card from the Queen?). To celebrate, the company has revealed the limited edition Bentley Continental GT no.9. It pays homage to the iconic Blower Bentley. Bentley is only making 100 of them, and each will be hand-built in Crewe by Bentley’s coachbuilding arm, Mulliner. Compared to the standard Continental GT, the No. 9 has unique 21-inch alloy wheels, a carbon fibre aero package, choice of two paint colours, and 'No. 9' badges about the place. Inside, there's a choice of Cumbrian Green or Beluga-coloured upholstery, as well as 18k gold switchgear, and British-Jaeger themed dials.

Bugatti

La Voiture Noire: It's a one-off, someone's already bought it, and it's the most expensive new car ever built.

Cupra

Formentor: Cupra’s second car is a coupe-like SUV. It’s the first Cupra not to be based on an existing Seat model.

Citroen

Citroen Ami One: Citroen has revealed an urban mobility concept called the Ami One. Like Bentley, Citroen is also celebrating 100 years, but it's gone for a brighter approach... It's a small cube-like vehicle with a top speed of 30mph, and a range of 60 miles.

DS

At the 2019 Geneva Motor Show, DS Automobiles announced it would be opening orders for new electrified versions of both its second-generation cars, the DS3 Crossback and DS7 Crossback.

Dacia

2019 Techroad limited edition: Dacia has revealed the new top-of-the-range Techroad limited edition available on the Duster, Logan MCV Stepway and Sandero Stepway. There's two new colours, Fusion Red and Highland Grey, and a few new design tweaks to the exterior and interior. Dacia also presented its new 1.3 TCe 130 GPF and 150 GPF engines on Duster, available on 4x4 versions from summer 2019.

Ferrari

F8 Tributo: This new two-seater, V8 Powered sports car replaces the 488 GTB in Ferrari’s line-up. With 720 horsepower, it can do 0-62mph in just 2.9 seconds, and go on to a top speed of 211mph.

Fiat

Concept Centoventi/new Panda: This is the Fiat Concept Centoventi, but it’s not just another concept car at the Geneva Motor Show. No, it’s our first look at what the next Fiat Panda will become.

Ford

Ford did not attend the 2019 Geneva Motor Show.

Honda

e Prototype: Honda debuted its cute and funky looking Urban EV concept at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show. For the 2019 Geneva Motor Show, it revealed the production model.

Hyundai

Tucson N-Line: Hyundai is adding to its Tucson line-up with a new N-Line model. It's expected to be available by the end of 2019, with exterior and interior upgrades to the standard model. The N-Line is more performance-inspired, and will have sporty touches inside and out.

Jaguar

Jaguar hasn't attended the 2019 Geneva Motor Show, as part of cost-cutting methods.

Jeep

Renegade and Compass PHEV: Jeep has previewed plug-in hybrid versions of its Renegade and Compass models at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show. Both will have an electric range of around 31 miles, and an 80mph full electric top speed.

Kia

Imagine by Kia: An all-electric four-door passenger car concept which is expected to arrive in production form in 2021. It's between an SUV and a saloon in shape, and is expected to have quite a long electric range.
Soul EV: Kia revealed the third-generation Soul, which will only be available as an electric car going forward. It will be available with two battery options: an entry-level model with around 172 miles of range, and a long-range battery version, which will have a range of up to 280 miles. Lamborghini

Huracan Evo: The Huracan Evo has already been unveiled online, but it headed to the 2019 Geneva Motor Show to garner more stares. It’s an upgraded version of its ‘entry-level’ V10 supercar. Entry level, with prices starting at £206,000. The 5.2-litre V10 engine has had a few updates, and the Huracan Evo can demolish 0-62mph in 2.9 seconds, with its 635 horsepower, and all-wheel-drive system. Orders are expected to open shortly after Geneva.

Land Rover

Land Rover hasn't attended the 2019 Geneva Motor Show, as part of cost-cutting methods.

Lexus

LC Convertible concept: Currently just a concept, but hopefully this will make it into production.
RC F Track edition: European Premiere of the new 2020 RC F Track Edition.

Maserati

Levante Trofeo Launch Edition: Only 100 units of the Maserate Trofeo Launch Edition will be made. They'll feature exterior and interior tweaks to differentiate from the rest of the range. It will only be available with the 3.8-litre twin turbo V8 engine with 600 horsepower.

Mazda

Mazda CX-30: Mazda has announced its CX-30 at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show. Based on the recently released Mazda 3 hatchback, the car will sit between the CX-3 and CX-5 in Mazda range of SUVs. However, as the new car is named the CX-30, we wouldn’t be surprised if there was a reorganisation of Mazda’s naming conventions on the horizon, although no such changes have been confirmed.

Enjoyable to drive and with a more upmarket cabin, its only weak link is the amount of space in the rear seats and boot. All that remains to see is how competitively priced it will be. Read more about the new Mazda 3 in our latest expert review. MX-5/CX-5: As well as a new SUV and the new 3, Mazda will be debuting its MX-5 30th Anniversary Edition, and its best-selling CX-5 model.

McLaren

New Grand Touring car: McLaren announced plans to build a GT car. Apparently it will be more powerful than the 570GT, but offer more luggage space and long-distance cruising.

Mercedes-Benz

CLA Shooting Brake: Mercedes will be going for sportiness over practicality with its new CLA Shooting Brake. The engine range is expected to be the same as the A-Class hatch, with a hot version to follow.
Find out more about the second-generation CLA Shooting Brake. GLC Coupe facelift: The Mercedes GLC Coupe will also be getting a mild facelift. It will be getting a new infotainment system with Apple CarPlay (for the first time), and some external styling tweaks. The engine line-up is also getting some efficiency improvements. EQV concept: The Mercedes Concept EQV previews a production electric version of the V-Class due to be revealed later this year. Find out more about the EQV concept. AMG GLE 53 AMG GT R roadster

MG

ZS electric SUV: MG has announced its first electric car, the ZS electric SUV. It will arrive in the UK in autumn. There aren't many details available yet, but Daniel Gregorious, head of sales and marketing at MG said, “With the launch of our MG ZS electric SUV we’re delighted to be entering the electric car market at such an exciting time... With MG’s trademark value-for-money approach, we’re confident that we can help more and more new car buyers to go electric”.

Mitsubishi

ASX: Mitsubishi debuted its 2020 ASX small SUV at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show. The ASX has been around since 2009 and is Mitsubishi’s third-highest selling model. It rivals the likes of the Toyota CH-R, Peugeot 2008 and Mazda CX-3.
Read more about the new Mitsubishi ASX Engelberg Tourer Concept: Mitsubishi also unveiled its Engelberg Tourer concept car at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show. It’s named after a prestigious Swiss winter sport resort. Mitsubishi says it will be a practical SUV with a focus on next-generation technology and enhanced EV performance.

Morgan

Plus Six: The first straight-six engine in a Morgan. It's a 3.0-litre turbocharged unit from BMW. The car will have a top speed of 166mph, and do 0-62mph in 4.2 seconds. It goes on sale later in 2019. The First Edition cars will cost from £89,995, with the base-level model costing £77,995.

Nissan

Peugeot

208: Peugeot has revealed its new 208. The range will include a full electric version, as well as petrol and diesel models, when it launches in the summer.

It's powered by a 200 horsepower, 1.6-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine supported by two electric motors. It has more than 400 horsepower in total, with Peugeot claiming a 0-62mph time of 4.3 seconds, and top speed of 155mph. It should arrive in production form in 2020.

Pininfarina

Battista: Design company Pininfarina never do things by halves. This year, the company is debuting its new Battista model, named after the company’s founder, Battista Farina. The car is an all-electric hypercar with a 0-62mph time of less than two seconds, a top speed of more than 250mph, and a casual 1,927 horsepower. The company will only build up to 150 units, with each one costing between £1.5-2m.

Polestar

Polestar 2: Although Volvo isn’t attending the 2019 Geneva Motor Show, Polestar (the company’s performance brand) has. It debuted its Polestar 2 model, an all-electric car set to rival the Tesla Model 3. It’s got a claimed range of 310 miles, and will cost £35,000 (which is considerably cheaper than the Tesla at the moment).

Porsche

911 Cabriolet: The convertible version shares the same engine line-up as the coupe, and can drop its top in just 12.0 seconds, at speeds of up to 31mph.

Renault

Clio: Renault debuted its new Clio at the Geneva Motor Show. The fifth-generation model will have new styling, be lighter, have some semi-autonomous driving systems added, and include a mild hybrid system. Buyers will be able to opt for a 0.9-litre, three-cylinder turbo, or a 1.3-litre, four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine. There’s no news on whether any diesel variants will be available yet.

Rolls-Royce

Full portfolio: Rolls-Royce has debuted its full current product portfolio for the first time on an international stage, including the first publicly-revealed Bespoke Cullinan commission.

Seat

el-Born: The el-Born is Seat's first standalone electric car, and will go on sale in 2020.
Find out more. Leon concept: The Seat Leon is a popular car, and a new one appeared at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show, in concept form. Seat has said the design will move from sharp lines and edges, to more of a ‘fullness’. Whatever that means. The production model is likely to be on sale in the UK by the end of 2019. Minimo: Seat's version of the Renault Twizy has just half the footprint of an average city car. Seat has confirmed it will go into production in 2021.

Skoda

Kamiq: Smaller than a Kodiaq and a Karoq, Skoda debuted its new Kamiq compact SUV at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show. The small SUV will be about Nissan Juke size, and will follow on from the Vision X concept Skoda debuted at the 2018 show. Skoda will offer the Kamiq with its 1.0-litre, three-cylinder petrol engines, 1.5-litre, four-cylinder petrol (found in the VW Golf), and a 1.6-litre diesel.
Find out more about the Skoda Kamiq. Vision iv concept: Skoda has revealed its all-electric Vision iV concept at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show. Although the car is a concept, Skoda has said it’s a reliable indication of an upcoming all-electric production model. The SUV coupe will have a range of up to 311 miles on the WLTP cycle, and it will be possible to charge from 0-80% in 30 minutes on a fast charger. Find out more about the Skoda Vision iV concept.

Smart

Forease+: The Forease+ is based on the ForTwo Cabriolet EV, but there's a few extra bits like bigger wheels, fancier lights, a more sweeping windscreen, and the removable hard-shell cover roof. It's a follow-up to the Forease concept Smart showed at the 2018 Paris Motor Show.

SsangYong

Korando: The new Korando SUV made its debut at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show. SsangYong has said the new model will have plenty of design updates, new technology, and new engines, including a new 1.6-litre diesel, 1.5-litre petrol-hybrid, and a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder petrol-hybrid.
New EV: SsangYong brought its e-SIV concept to the 2018 Geneva Motor Show, and revealed the production model at the 2019 show. It’s expected to have a 190-horsepower motor and an electric range of 200-280 miles. It should cost around £25,000 and go on sale in 2020.

Subaru

Viziv Tourer concept: A concept which possibly previews what the Impreza WRX Estate could look like.

Toyota

Supra GT4 Concept: Toyota has brought its Supra GT4 Concept to the 2019 Geneva Motor Show. It shows how the Supra sports car might be developed as a competitive machine for international GT4 racing.
Corolla special edition trim levels, GR Sport and Trek: The GR Sport is a more sporty version of the Corolla, 'imbued with the spirit of Toyota Gazoo Racing'. Both the hatchback and estate versions will be available, with a choice of 1.8 or 2.0-litre hybrid powertrains. The GR Sport models have some styling tweaks inside and out. It will go on sale in Europe in January 2020. The Trek models have more rugged, SUV-like styling, and has in part been inspired by Toyota's collaboration with Trek Bicycle. 2019 Prius with all-wheel-drive: The 2019 Prius will be available with intelligent all-wheel-drive for the first time. It will be available as an option on the Business Edition Plus model.

Volkswagen

ID Beach Buggy concept: VW’s ID concepts have been popping up at motorshows for the past few years, and the 2019 Geneva Motor Show saw another one. A new all-electric buggy made its debut, based on the classic popular Meyers Manx dune buggy. From the teaser pictures, it keeps all the classic buggy styling – no fixed roof or proper doors, and open side sills – but it’s not yet known whether or not it will go into production.
Passat: There are some styling tweaks to VW’s popular mid-size car, including new advanced headlights as seen on the latest Touareg. But the company is particularly keen to shout about its new autonomous driving features. Read more about the revised Volkswagen Passat. Volvo

Volvo didn't attend the 2019 Geneva Motor Show, and will instead focus on its own events.
