What happens when you get three car enthusiasts together to answer quick-fire questions about their likes and loathes? Well, as you can imagine, they had a lot to say.
Auto Trader’s Alex Kersten, Alex Legouix and Rory Reid go head-to-head in our latest video to reveal their first, their favourite and their fastest cars. What could possibly go wrong? You’re going to have to watch our video to find out exactly what went down, but in the meantime, let’s shine the spotlight on some of the cars that get a special mention.

Ford Escort LX

The Ford Escort was one of the best-selling cars to come out of the 1980s and 1990s, selling a whopping 4.1 million units in the UK over a 33-year period. Production of new models ended in 2001, but it's easy to see why the Ford Escort was so loved in the UK; it stood out from the crowd with its sharp design, while its build was dependable and trustworthy, making it a great choice for a first car.
Can you guess whose first car was a 1995 Ford Escort LX? If you’re learning to drive or looking for your first car, check out the best cars for first-time drivers here.

Audi TT

The Audi TT began production in 1998 and has seen three generations of performance enhancement over its lifetime. Seen in Marvel movies Avengers: Age of Ultron and in Spider-Man: Homecoming, the Audi TT is one of the brand’s most successful and iconic models, with the 45 TFSI variant boasting 245 horsepower and a 0-62 time of 5.9 seconds.
Our Experts scored the Audi TT five stars in both performance and features thanks to its 2.0-litre turbocharged engine and four levels of trim to suit every driver’s needs. Which of our dream team labelled the Audi TT the favourite car they’ve ever owned?

Showcasing a top speed of 216mph, the Aventador SVJ’s whopping 770 horsepower can deliver a 0-62mph time of 2.8 seconds, so it’s no wonder that one of our presenters chose the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ as their dream car.
