E-bike Giveaway: Raleigh Motus Grand Tour winner announced

We are delighted to announce that Rob from Swindon was the lucky winner of the Raleigh Motus Grand Tour, from our first ever e-bike giveaway which ran from 1st Sep – 30th Sep 2023.
We caught up with Rob about how he felt when he found out they had won the Raleigh Motus Grand Tour, he said he ‘couldn’t believe I had won this prize’ and that the win ‘was welcome good news that really made me feel great’ especially as it came soon after Rob had suffered an accident, and, is awaiting surgery to help him get back on the move. He told us winning this e-bike has given him ‘something to look forward to after my surgery’ and for now he assured us his wife will make effective use of the prize until he recovers. Rob had previously considered buying an e-bike to get about locally and to use for fun with his friends who also cycle. He cannot wait to get on his e-bike with his friend Daniel, on their local cycle network in Swindon. Once Rob has recovered, he hopes his new e-bike will help him rebuild his fitness. He told us ‘I’m excited to just be in a position to ride a bike in the near future. This will be a major milestone for me.’ Excitingly, Rob’s recovery should ‘coincide with a new £6.3m sports hub being built by our local council less than a mile from my home. Providing a 1km regional standard cycle track’ which he is really looking forward to using. We wish Rob all the best with his brand-new Raleigh Motus Grand Tour.
